we know that
the edge of the cube is equal to the diameter of cylinder
diameter=3 in
radius cylinder=3/2 in

volume of a cylinder=pi*r

r=1.5 in
h is the edge of the cube-----> h=3 in
so

volume of a cylinder=pi*(3/2)²*3-----> pi*(9/4)*3----> (27/4)*pi in³----> 21.21 in³

the answer is
the volume of the cylinder is (27/4)*pi in³  or 21.21 in³
