Blood glucose is usually regulated by insulin from the pancreas. Patients with Diabetes, have high glucose levels in the blood because the insulin is not produced or processed properly.  If this condition is left unmanaged, Diabetes can cause blood glucose levels to rise and enter the urine because kidneys can’t properly reabsorb that glucose.
