multiply the total number of pies by 3/5 to find out how many pies were sold.
3/5 × 25(pies)/1 = 3 × 25/5 × 1 = 75/5 = 75 ÷ 55 ÷ 5 = 15 (pies sold)
25 pies - 15 pies sold = 10 pies leftover.
