How are lava and magma alike?

Hi there!

Magma is the same as lava, but just inside of the volcano before it is spewed out. (Lava is when it is spewed out.) They are basically the same thing (just different terms to describe it.)

They are alike because they both come from volcanoes and contain rocks. Magma and lava are both liquids those are some comparisons.
