Ribosomal RNA (rRNA) - Associates with proteins to form ribosomes in the cytoplasm. - Transfer RNA (tRNA) - Smaller segments of RNA nucleotides that transport amino acids to the ribosome. - Through transcription, the DNA code is transferred to mRNA in the nucleus.
