Subtitute y with 3 - x in the second equation to find the value of x
2x + 4y = 6
2x + 4(3 - x)  = 6
2x + 12 - 4x = 6
-2x + 12 = 6
-2x = 6 - 12
-2x = -6
   x = -6/-2
   x = 3

Subtitute x with 3 to the first equation
y = 3 - x
y = 3 - 3
y = 0

The solution is (3,0)
x = 3
y = 0
