Mori contends that writing is more a learned process than an inborn skill. While there may be some parts of the process that are less learned than others, there is a myth that holds that being a great writer is some type of natural talent that only certain persons can attain. In actuality, there are classes that can teach proper mechanics and structure that can make many people who feel they are not good writers into much better writers.
