Our original equation:
[tex]248 - 4k = 5+9(-3+4)[/tex]
Now, we just solve for k:
When we use PEMDAS, we get this equation:
[tex]248 - 4k = 14[/tex]
Now, subtract 248 from both sides:
[tex]- 4k = -234[/tex]
Now, divide -4 on both sides:
[tex]k = 58.5 [/tex]
The answer to your problem is k = 58.5 or k = 117/2. Hope this helps and have a fantastic day!
