We cannot judge a man of the past by modern standards. However, personally speaking, I think that if Alexander the Great had lived until today, he could have maintained his empire.
Reasons:
1. Great leadership from a young age.
2. Alexander did not massacre too much, and respected cultures.
3. Alexander had a great respect to the sciences, history, and other subjects.
4. Strong military power and unity.
