How does an amendment get passed?

There are two ways of passing an amendment. First, it can be proposed by the congress, where it has to be voted for by at least two-thirds majority (supermajority), or by a national Convention which means that is the proposal has to be submitted by legislators from at least 34 states.

in any case, the amendment has to be ratified by a supermajority(two-third) of states, that's 38 states (at least).
