What is the x-intercept of the graph: 2x + 4y = -10

x = -5 - 2y.

Because when you subtract 4y from both sides you end up with 2x = -10 - 4y. After that you divide both sides by 2 and get the answer x = -5 - 2y.

(This might be the answer and also, I might have not completely done it or something. But I'm pretty sure I did most of it right.)
