First of all, your slope is 2, so changing it to a smaller #, like 1/2, will make it less steep. the higher the slope number the steeper it is. (to find the slope, you find two point that the graph intersects, like (1,2) or (2,4), then follow the slope formula in the pic [(4-2)÷(2-1)] to get 2) 1/2 is not a negative slope and it is greater than 0, so the graph will still rise but not as steeply (a)
