Higher education is basically High School or above. Some major companies ask you for higher education, because someone that studies a lot means that he/she will be more usable for the job.
Any education pursued after high school. The term is usually used to describe those attending college for an Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorates in a specific subject.
