How did jesus suffer when the soldiers took his clothes and divide them among themselves?

Jesus suffered by their mockery which they don't believe that He was God. But I think Jesus was more burdened by the people's sins. The only way to save people of their sins is through His atonement.

Jesus did ask God the Father about the sufferings he would walk through. But He gave His love to the world even though people don't deserve this kind of unconditional love, which people should be thankful of.
