Why does the falling speed of a ball keeps increasing every second when it is dropped from a building ?

An object with a force acting on it accelerates. (Newton). The ball has a constant force acting on it. It is the "weight" of the ball, caused by the gravitational attraction between the ball and the Earth. (Newton again).
