Natural selection can cause a species to change by making a species' biological and physical features adapt to its environment or what it needs to survive. If a species of bird cannot obtain a food source because its beak is too short, over time, through the process of natural selection, the species will adapt and new birds will be born with longer beaks. Hope this helps!!
