In the figure below, m<1 =(15x - 5) and m<3 =(10x + 35)Find x = and m<2

Solution

For this case we can see that m<1 = m<3 so we have:

15x -5 = 10x +35

5x= 40

x= 8

Then we know that total circle measures 360º so we can do this:

115 + 115 + 2m <2 = 360

And solving for m<2 we got:

m <2 = (360-115-115)/2 =

65º
