To find f(-1) we need to plug the value x=-1 into the function:

[tex]f(-1)=2(-1)^3=2(-1)=-2[/tex]

then f(-1)=-2.

Now, to find f(1) we plug x=1 into the function:

[tex]f(1)=2(1)^3=2(1)=2[/tex]

then f(1)=2.
