That is 1 mile = 1.6 km

As we know that 1km has 1000 meters in it.

so the value of 1 mile = 1600m.

since there is 1760 yards in a mile.

so we get 1760 yards = 1600m.

so to find the meters in 1 yard is,

So 1 yard contains 0.9090m.
