A solute has a solubility in water of 21 g/kg solvent. Is this value the same as 21 g/kg solution? Explain.

It is not the same because the first means 21 g of solute in 1 kg of solvent Second one is, on the other side, 21 g of solute in 1 kg of solution (solute + solvent). In order for the two to be the same, the second one should be 21 g / 1.021 kg of solution.
