so first you multiple the price of the item which is $64.99 times .2
You multiple it by .2 because you have to take the discount amount which is 20% and move the decimal over two places to the left

(64.99)(.2)=12.99 this answer is how much of a discount you get

with that answer you are going to take the original number $64.99-12.99= $52

so your swimsuit will cost $52
