As we know, salt and water have different boiling points. Hence, we can use the "evaporation" technique to separate salt from salt solution. For this, one has to simply heat the salt solution till all the water boils and evaporates, and salt is left behind. In laboratory, we can also collect the evaporated water through condensation.
