Step-by-step explanation: If  cosA=4/5 then

sinA=√(1−cos2A)  {Because sin^2A+cos^2A=1}

=>sinA=√(1−16/25)

=>sinA=√(9/25)

=>sinA=3/5

Now as  tanA=sinA/cosA

=>tanA=3/5×5/4  {Because 1/cosA=5/4}

=>tanA=3/4
