The lateral area of a three-dimensional solid is the area of all the lateral faces. It is calculated as follows

LA = area of the triangle (2) + area of reactangle (2)
area of triangle = (9
√3) / 4
area of rectangle = 36

LA = (9√3) / 4 (2) + 36 (2) = 43.79 in^2

Total area = LA + area of the rectangle at the bottom
Total area = 43.79 + 6(3) = 61.79 in^2

Volume = area of triangle x length
Volume = (9√3) / 4 x 6 = 23.38 in³
