Calories ingested is the food you consume everyday. Your body then naturally absorbs this food, where it travels through the blood and is ready to be burned from exercising! You need to consume calories if you want to exercise, thus to lose the excess fat stored in your body. Less excess fat = lower weight, but you can only go so low.
