  • Find [tex]f(g(x))[/tex] by substituting the entire g(x) function for x in f(x)
  • [tex]f(x)=\sqrt{x} +2\\f(g(x))=\sqrt{(9x-4)} +2[/tex] that's the answer
  • Then f(g(3)) is just putting in place of x in our new equation
