What is the difference between control group and controlled variables of an experiment

A control group Is a set of experimental samples or subjects that are kept separate and aren’t exposed to the independent variable. A controlled variable is any factor you are able to control or hold constant during the experiment, which is why it can also be known as a “constant variable”.
