2 pounds for $10.99 means 1 pound for $5.495 => 5 pounds for $27.475

2/10.99 = 5/x...2 lbs to 10.99 = 5 lbs to x
cross multiply
(2)(x) = (10.99)(5)
2x = 54.95
x = 54.95/2
x = 27.475 rounds to 27.48
