how do you get 22 percent of 200

We know that 22% of something means [tex] \frac{22}{100} [/tex] or 0.22 of something.
So, first we have to convert 22% into 0.22. Now we can just multiply 0.22 times our number, so:
0.22*200=44 - its our result
