For an arithmetic sequence the formula for the nth term is:
[tex]a_{n}=a_{1}+(n-1)d[/tex]
Plugging the given values into the formula, we get:
[tex]a_{33}=9+32\times-1.5=-39[/tex]
The 33th term is -39.
