Solution:

Radius of the circle = 10 cm

The value of π = 3.14

To find the area of the circle:

Area of the circle = πr²

                             = 3.142 × 10²

                             = 3.142 × 100

                             = 314.2 cm²

The area of the circle is 314.2 cm².
