To solve the expression 7x + y we can substitute x with 2 and y with 6.

= 7(2) + 6

= 14 + 6

= 20

Okay so we’ll fill in the information making the problem
7 x 2 + 6 = ?
So then we’re going to multiply 7 x 2 which is 14. This makes the problem
14 + 6 = ?
Then we add 14 and 6 to make 20 so
