Displacement ,x= 3 cm = 0.03 m

The work done is given as

[tex]W=\dfrac{1}{2}Kx^2[/tex]

x=Displacement

Now by putting the values in the above equation

[tex]W=\dfrac{1}{2}\times 6\times 10^7\times (0.03)^2[/tex]

W=27000 J

The work done in KJ is given as

W= 27 KJ                   ( 1 K = 1000 )

Therefore the answer will be 27 KJ.
