"tener" when conjugated in present tense:

tener means to have or to be

this is it conjugated in the present tense
yo - tengo
tú - tienes
él/ella/usted - tiene
nosotros - tenemos
vosotros - tienéis
ellos/ellas/ustedes - tienen
