Standard English is the form of the English language widely accepted as the usual correct form.

Examples:

Non-standard: We was there yesterday

Standard: We were there yesterday.

Non-standard: Pass me them papers!

Standard: Pass me those papers!

Non-standard: They ain't got nothing.

Standard: They haven't got anything.
