Finding the slope using two points:

The formula for slope is

[tex]\frac{y_{2}-y_{1}}{x_{2}-x_{1}}[/tex]

In this case...

[tex]y_{2} =-7\\y_{1} =2\\x_{2} =4\\x_{1} =-3[/tex]

^^^Plug these numbers into the formula for slope...

[tex]\frac{-7 - 2}{4 - (-3)}[/tex]

[tex]\frac{-9}{6}[/tex]

^^^Reduce this fraction

[tex]\frac{-3}{2}[/tex]

^^^This is your slope

Hope this helped!
