Kurt Vonnegut was an American writer. He was known for his dark and satirical novels. He published five novels before he was recognized in his novel, Slaughterhouse-Five. It then instantly became The New York Times Best Seller List after its release, which gained his success and fame, and received many awards and honors. After his death, he was hailed as one of the most important contemporary writers.
