I would say that diagram 3 is the resultant, diagram number 1 is leaning more towards the left and cannot help us much in this scenario, diagram 2 is only going left and right but not up or down so its also a false answer, diagram 4 is almost correct because it shows the A+B=R formula, but only shows figure A and not figure B.
