Explanation:-

LiOH, HBr and LiBr are all ionic compounds. Hence in water

LiOH gives Li+ and OH-

LiBr gives Li+ and Br-.

HBr gives H + and Br-

H2O remains as H2O since it is covalent

Now the equation is LiOH(aq) + HBr(aq) ----> H2O(l) + LiBr(aq)

Writing in ionic form

Li+ + OH- + H+ + Br- --> H2O(l) + Li+ + Br-

Cancelling out the common terms

OH- (aq) + H+ (aq) --> H2O(l)
