Which statement best describes relations between the United States and South Korea today?

The two countries are strong trading companies due to they both hate North Korea. It's like the old saying, An enemy of my enemy is a friend to me.

well, they are still one country but are two different countries in a way. Their is still a war but it is like on hold kinda. They have where the two countries meet it is still historical and they still have weapons on and ready to be fired at any given time... Hope it helps
