Volume of a cone is given by:
V=1/3πr²h
suppose a cone has radius of r and height,h. The volume will be:
v=1/3πr²h
When the height is doubled, the new volume will be:
v=1/3πr²×2h
v=2/3πr²h
comparing the coefficient of the two volumes, we conclude that when the height was doubled, the volume was also doubled.
The volume will be twice as large as the original volume
