Nuclear energy is the energy released during nuclear fission or fusion.

Nuclear Energy is : Energy released by reactions within atomic nuclei , as in Nuclear Fission and Nuclear Fusion

My reason being is because this is the outcome of some radio active plants when they release "gas" or chemicals into the air.
